This policy explains what personal information Elevates collects through elevates.dev, how we use it and the choices you have.
Last updated: 4 November 2026
Who we are
Elevates (“we”, “us”) is a design and technology studio headquartered at Km4 Area, Wadajir, Mogadishu BN 00000, Somalia. We are responsible for the personal information described in this policy.
Information we collect
When you use our contact form, we collect the details you give us: your name, email address, organisation, the service you're interested in, an optional budget range and your message.
Like most websites, our hosting provider automatically records basic technical information — such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you request — to keep the website secure and working.
Cookies
We use one functional cookie, “NEXT_LOCALE”, to remember the language you choose. It is kept for up to one year. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
How we use your information
We use your enquiry to reply to you, understand your needs, prepare proposals and communicate with you about a possible project. We use technical information to operate and protect the website. We do not sell your personal information.
Who we share it with
We share information only with service providers that help us run the website and deliver email, and only as needed for those purposes. We may also disclose information where the law requires it.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiries for as long as needed to respond and follow up — normally no longer than 24 months — unless you become a client, in which case your agreement with us applies.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us to access, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, or to stop contacting you, by emailing info@elevates.dev.
Security and international transfers
We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information. Our service providers may process information outside Somalia; we choose providers that protect it appropriately.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
