About us

A studio built in Mogadishu, for the world.

Elevates is a design and technology company. We help organisations build brands, websites, software and strategies that move them forward.

Who we are

We're a team of ten — designers, engineers, strategists and marketers — working as one studio. Instead of passing work between separate departments, we bring the right mix of people to each project from the start.

That makes us small enough to stay close to every project, and broad enough to take an idea from first sketch to working product.

What we believe

Clarity before code. Craft is not optional. Local roots, global standard.

  • Clarity before code

Every project starts with the business problem. Design and technology decisions follow from it — never the other way round.

  • Craft is not optional

Typography, performance, accessibility, the last pixel of a layout: details are where quality becomes visible.

  • Local roots, global standard

We're headquartered in Mogadishu and set up to work with organisations anywhere, to international standards.

What makes us different

Our approach to digital innovation

Innovation isn't about chasing the newest tool. It's about finding the simplest thing that will make a real difference — then building it properly. We prototype early, test with real people and choose technology for its fit, not its novelty.

  • One team, end to end

Strategy, design, engineering and marketing under one roof means fewer handovers and less lost in translation.

  • Built for this region

We understand the languages, connectivity and expectations of people in Somalia and the wider region, and we design for them.

  • Honest by default

We tell you what we think, explain the trade-offs and only promise what we can deliver.

Our commitment to quality

Every project we ship meets a baseline we don't compromise on.

  • Accessible to people of all abilities, with WCAG 2.2 AA as our target
  • Fast on everyday devices and connections, with a performance budget for every build
  • Secure, with a security review before launch
  • Clean, documented code that you own

Headquartered in Mogadishu. Working worldwide.

Our home is Mogadishu, a city with a long history as a port and meeting point on the Indian Ocean. From here we're set up to work with organisations anywhere — collaborating remotely across time zones, and meeting in person when it matters.
